FAQ

Straight answers before you join.

Pricing, client billing, previews, privacy, control, and what Nudio is becoming. We would rather be clear than sound big.

Short version

Your clients never pay Nudio. The subscription is yours.

You set your rates; each ready direction shows the estimate.

A render is a direction, not a guarantee of the final set.

Answers

What to know before you open your studio.

Do my clients pay anything?

No. Your client never sees a bill from Nudio. You invite her into your studio, and the only price she sees is your service price. The plan is yours alone to carry.

Does Nudio replace my judgment?

No. Nudio shows your client a direction before she sits down. You still decide what is wearable, what is healthy for her nails, and what fits the time you have. The set is yours to call, the way it always has been.

What does Nudio cost me?

Nudio is a subscription you carry as the tech or salon. The final numbers are still being shaped with founding techs, so we will not quote a price we might change. Join early access and you will see the plan before anything is owed.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. You enter your own rates once, base by nail type plus add-ons for length, gloss, chrome, gems, and hand-painted work. Every design your client confirms carries an estimate built from those rates, so the cost is clear before appointment time.

What happens to my client's hand photo?

It creates the preview and saves the finalized look to her record. Nothing more. It is never used in marketing without separate permission, and the public waitlist never asks for one. Photos live inside the private studio, after consent.

Does Nudio copy other artists' work?

No. Your client can bring a screenshot to show palette, shape, and mood, but Nudio reads it as direction, not a design to reproduce. What you build at the chair is your own work, in your own hand.

Who is Nudio for?

Nail techs and salon owners. A solo tech runs her custom-set consult and pricing from one studio. A salon owner gives every chair the same tool and the same standard. Your clients enter by invitation.

Will my clients still come back to me?

That is the point of it. The client-side experience keeps her trying sets between visits and saving the ones she loves, so the next conversation still points back to your chair.

Is the render a guarantee of the final set?

No. It is a direction you both agree on, not a promise. Materials, nail health, length, timing, and your technique still shape the finished set. You confirm the real work and the real price at the chair.

Is Nudio a booking system?

Not yet. Nudio is where the design and the price get settled before the appointment. It is the start of a real toolkit for nail techs, built one honest piece at a time.
